Have you found your red door?

The most important part of this painting is the most insignificant – the red door. You don’t see it immediately; what you see is an inviting landscape. But to get to this inviting landscape (the future) you must go through the red door.

Which life path will you take? 

The foreground (the present) leads you to the red door. But you can choose not to go through it. You can choose to continue along the trail and turn left. In this case, the future is blocked from your view by the wall on the right. 

The red door represents the individuating stage of personal development. If you move through the individuating stage (the red door) you will find freedom and self-actualization; the landscape of your life will expand. If you don’t go through the red door, you will be blinkered and constrained by the walls of your present life..

Self-actualization

Self-actualization brings meaning and purpose to your life; it allows you to explore who you are and align with your gifts and talents. It allows you to become one with your soul.
