My New Painting Career: Why I Listen to My Soul

Where does your inspiration come from?

As I embark on a new career as a painter, I wonder why I feel this impulse to paint? 

My answer to this question may seem a little unusual. It is because it is what my soul told me to do. For the past twenty years, I have been following my soul’s prompts – the impulses that come from my soul. I have learned that when I do this, two things happen. 

My life takes on a deeper meaning, and I find joy through my activities and creations. For the past 15 years, I have been writing books my soul told me to write. I thought this would go on for the rest of my life. Imagine my surprise when in May 2022, I got an entirely new message.

Surrender to the Soul

Since I have followed my soul's impulses, I have learned not to question my soul’s messages. I know my soul has a reason, which it will reveal to me at some future time. 

My last big impulse was to create more than 20 E-Learning courses covering all the topics in my books. This coincided with the onset of the Covid pandemic. I was in lockdown, so creating these courses did not mean I had to drop what I was doing. I couldn’t work. I had to learn how to design and create courses. It took me just over six months to complete this task.

Everything is in Divine Order

Only now do I see my soul’s rationale. These courses not only have become the cornerstone of my business. They are being used by people all over the world to further their personal development. So, I am now learning how to paint. I know it will take a few years to perfect my painting, and I am searching for the best teachers I can find.

How to trust in the Soul’s plan for your life

I know the meaning of my painting will be revealed to me sometime in the future. It is as if I am on a journey and do not know my destination. I know I must focus on the process and learn as much as I can on the way. 

I have learned that trusting your soul is key to living in soul consciousness. 

I know I do not have a soul; I am a soul. I also know that the more I follow the promptings of my soul, the more meaning and joy I will experience in my life. I also know I will bring more meaning and joy to other people.
